Tools For Parenting - How to Talk So Kids Will Listen Workshops
Michelle is throwing food... Marco didn't do his homework... Jenny told a lie... and the baby's crying!
The 8 class parenting series, Tools For Parenting - How To Talk So Kids Will Listen, gives you the in depth know how you need to be more effective with children and adolescents, and more helpful to yourself. Concrete skills will help you cope with your child's negative feelings, engage his willing cooperation, discipline without hurting or alienating, help her develop a positive and realistic self-image, and foster a family atmosphere of love, respect, and fun.
Small Group Meetings
A maximum of 10 group members means you will have powerful community support while you are learning how to be the parent you want to be. We meet on Zoom for two hours every other week, and we get to know each other, because parenting is not meant to be done in isolation. Sessions fly by with a blend of lecture, large and small group discussion, practice worksheets/role-plays, and video. Optional reading and video assignments between classes give motivated participants the opportunity to dive deep into the ideas and practices of relationship based positive parenting. Importantly, the group setting holds each of us accountable for actually using the skills offered. Everyone is learning, so there is no judgment as you share your progress experimenting with new tools. The several month span of our work together gives you a chance to truly form new habits - I promise you will walk away with skills and confidence that will help uplift your whole family for the long term.
